For the first time since 93, I think, no Aggies were drafted. What's up with that, Ags?
Weren't they a young team, and the seniors that were available were not that big a deal.
The Ags need to step it up. Texas is much better when you have two strong major programs year in and year out.
I would rather UT go against A&M than against USC, Notre Dame, Michigan or Florida. Just do not like those other schools in our backyard.
Melvin Bullitt went to the Colts, Chad Schroeder to the Chargers, and Justin Warren went to the Pats...all as free agents. This draft broke a string of 33 years of having an Aggie drafted to the NFL.
I'm sorry first time no Ags were draft since 1974.
Yet we're keeping Dennis Franchione another year LOL
I was at a predominately Aggie Draft party. Laughed at them when they mentioned if any Aggie might get drafted....they brought up the UT game... i balked at their pimping of a 12-7 "***kicking" in their words .. I smiled and said maybe the scouts saw the Cal game.
A friend summed it up best though
" well...i'm glad they're having their good players drafted. Means we'll have most of our starters next year and yours will be playing sunday"
Said like a true aggie.
