He averaged over 5 pards a carry in 04 and 05 and now he's averaging 7.4 yards a carry.. it's it completely obvious that he has the wheels to get to the second level before you know it..

What about giving up a 3rd rounder for him?

I think San Diego will be hesitant to give him up.

why would san diego give up such a good backup? tomlinson isn't 100% dependable.

Of course nobody is completely reliable but if someone offered a 3rd rounder for your "Backup" i think alot of people would jump on that.. beside Ladanian hasn't really shown a history of being injury prone or anything like that so that could be even more a reason to make this trade and next year you could use that 3rd rounder to help out your team and maybe a 4th or 5th for another backup RB.

I seriously doubt that the chargers give him up...I don't know what his contract looks like but i bet it's pretty good considering how good he is...and they would have to ask themselves would they be able to get a more valuable player in the third round...my guess would be no....Turner could start for a lot of teams in the leauge...

Eventually they will because they will not sign him to starter pay to play behind LT and he isn't going to take back up pay and not start if he has FA options which he will. He is signed thru this season. They can RFA him for next year which is probably the way they will go but no one is going to give up a 1st and 3rd for a high tender and some sort of deal will likely be worked out. Not this year though.

Yeah that 1 game missed in 5.25 years sure shows how brittle he is.
