Anthony Weaver changed his number from 92 to 98...which used to belong to Peek. i dont have much to say about it...its just that i have nothing much to do right now and it has been really boring.

btw David Anderson is now #89

Weaver wore #98 at Notre Dame and in Baltimore.

Yeah...cause...you know...we all have David Anderson & Weaver jersies.

I'm surprised THEY even have their own jersies. haha The whole defense should wear ROBINSON jersies for DB's and RYANS for everyone else.

ARE, fan's could do like me and not wear any particular number. I wear a jersey without a number. I like supporting the entire team, not just one particular player.:)

What's the latest on Weaver BTW?

Last I heard, he suffered a torn rotator cuff near the end of the season, and had to have surgery . . . so late that he probably won't be ready for camp.

    Any updates?

The first thing I think of when I see the thread title is "Somebody got a hold of Weaver's new phone number? Freakin' stalkers!"

David Anderson could get cut sometime after TC. He's about 5'8" 170 (or so). Why would we keep him?

You pretend to know your Texans football so you should know the answer to this in all honesty. If you watched the games you would know he had some pretty nice moments and we caught a glimpse of some NFL level potential.

he's more like 5'10 and 194. we keep him because he is a better receiver than Mathis. but Mathis is a better special teamer!

You talk down on a guy like Anderson who was drafted and actually made the game day roster a few times last year yet you continually praise a guy(Chris Taylor) who has been active for 1 game against a bottomfeeder D

Why do we still have D. Anderson?
He's got hands better than Walter, Mathis or Adams. His last 2 years at CSU he had 120 receptions and only dropped 2 passes. The only pass thrown at him last year was caught for 27 yards.
Why not keep him....hell move him up to our #3

Definately better hands than Mathis....but I wouldnt say better than Walter...they both have great hands from what we hear...Anderson could be a #3,4...depending on who we draft, or pick up in FA
