We look like a 4-12 team.

So assuming we are in the top 5 of picks. What do we address, seriously? I think it is safe to say that we need someone in the secondary, in the offensive line, and I would say that we needed a new QB. Carr has lost all faith from this team. We need to restart at that position. Troy Smith and Brady Quinn look to be the top candidates there. As for secondary, I know LaRon Landry would help us out alot there. Offensive line wise i think we need a dominant guard to run behind. If not a guard get Blalock.

4 wins would be a minor miracle.

I think we need to replace 10 or 11 players on our offense and defense.

OK, just exactly how did you arrive at that? What specifically has been said or indicated that?

Looking towards next year, I'd say defensive secondary and offensive line. If somebody comes out of college looking like a total BA in one of these fields, this is the person the Texans need to take. The other one should be addressed in FA, if possible.

My preference is that a Center or Guard is brought in through drafting and that the Texans buy a cornerback/safety.

Depends on where we pick. Not a fan of picking interior linemen in the first unless we somehow make the playoffs and are picking at the end of the round.

At the moment, we look like we'll be picking between 8-15. I'd keep my eyes on CB or LB, maybe FS if we're down around the 13-15 picks.

I think I would bet a weeks pay that one of our first 2 picks in 07 will be some sort of DB. Could be a FS or a CB, but one will be picked up.

We looked bad, no lie....... but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Samkon Gado..... I was indifferent about the trade a couple of days ago. Now, all I can say is 3 carries, 36 yards. Hopefully we'll see a lot more of him.

Eric Moulds........ Carr's numbers looked good, but didn't throw a ball to Eric until the second half, didn't throw to AJ till the second quarter....... i think.

Protection issues noted...... but Carr's got to get his playmakers in the game early. AJ, Eric..... & I was surprised to see tightends catching balls today. Owens, Bruenner for a TD.... Putz... Even Walter got a catch today.

You're crazy if you think 4-12. I'm thinking 1-15 if we're lucky. The only team we're legitimately better than in the entire NFL is Oakland right now. Anyone else would overmatch us.

Beginning tomorrow morning the FO should start looking for some quick fixes for our secondary.

Anyone out there that would be considered an upgrade ?

    1st Round-Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia.

Explosive pass rusher coming off the edge. It would take the double teams off Mario, something Anthony Weaver doesn't do. Weaver would only have to be used on short yardage run plays and could stay fresh.

    2nd Round-Aaron Rouse, S, Virginia Tech

3rd Round-Fred Bennett, CB, South Carolina
