According to sources, talks are underway between the Redskins and Dolphins for DE Jason Taylor, who started the offseason by asking to go to a contending team. With Phillip Daniels likely done for the season and Erasmus James starting camp on the physically unable to perform list recovering from knee problems, defensive end is the thinnest position on the Redskins. The Redskins have not been in aggressive in free agency this season, so they would have no trouble handling Taylor's $8.1 million contract, but they also have the ability rework the deal.

 This could turn out good.

And this has NOTHING to do with homosexual or retired QB's. :wild:

How 'bout that? Some real football news.:)

Miami may end up getting a good draft pick out of the deal after all.

They're dropping like flies at Skins camp. Another player lost for the season today, and Smoot got hurt as well. See pft...

As much as I get excited about training camp starting, I always worry more about guys getting hurt in preseason ...

That's what I was thinking when I read the news about Phillip Daniels on the ESPN sports ticker. Here's to a injury free preseason for every team.

EDIT: Well the trade talks didn't last for long. The trade is a done deal, the Redskins get Taylor for a 2nd rounder.

I thought that JT wanted to go to a contender instead he is going from one pretender to another pretender. He must not be too happy about this move since he only has a couple of years left to play and try to get that SuperBowl ring.
