When we went for the 2 point conversion after scoring a garbage time touchdown? To me, it was absurd and ridiculous, and made us look sad.

Considering that we somehow managed to score 28 points in a matter of minutes last week, I would say that it was in line. You never know when you'll make a comeback, and thus should take all of the chances you can when you're in a hole that deep.

It did not embarass me because I do not value my self-worth based on what my favorite football team does on the field.

    Thank goodness.

if it mattered that much and there really was a shot, don't you have to line it up and do it again after the 5 yard penalty?

Actually I found our entire performace liberating, as it was much easier to turn off the game and either go do something productive or hang out with my fiancee, who thinks I watch too much football.

She may be wrong, but at least the Texans sucking like that made the decision easy.

Oh, and I started the Chargers DST and Antonio Gates in my office league fantasy football team, so at least there was some taste of victory.

It won't be embarrassing until I walk into work tomorrow. Funny how I get the business when they lose, and everyone's a Texans fan when they win.

i almost turned it off...but i felt bad after walking out on the tennessee game...and i don't want to be that kind of fan. Im trying to convert my girl into a texans fan...but damn they aren't making it easy. This season, she's watched the colts game, the tennessee game, and the san diego game.

    Totally.
But that was just one little piece.
Our coaches had already given up. You could see it by how we ran the ball so much. We chewed up clock right and left. If you are down that much, and you run the ball, you better not huddle up after.
    But they did.
Then after chewing up clock, they go for two? Lunacy.

Pittman throwing the ball over Turk's head and then watching that goofy jerk run toward the ball, trip over his own legs, and watch Cromartie get a TD was about the pinnacle of embarssment for me

And to think Pittman and Turk have been two of our brightest spots this year.

I don't get embarassed, I get mad!! I'm still fuming over the Titan game. NOW, after watching that mess yesterday, I'm about stroke level.! BUT, on a positive note! My garage is clean, my yard is raked, my flower beds are cleaned out, roof and gutters are clean, (thanks to Shadow) and I just about wore out my new washing machine! I'm tired today, but, still a little mad at our Texans!! Maybe I should just call it SAD today!

I watched the whole Titan game and could tell at the point on the moonshot snap that this was not going to be the Titan game part two. Thank all that is holy that my son's B-day was yesterday and I had to leave. Wife asked me if I wanted to set the DVR for the rest of the game and I told her to not clog up the space. I have never left a game early in my life...any sport...that one would have had me telling my self I couldn't get my money back, at least try and recover some of the time I was going to lose.

Its obviously convenient right now to have a snotty, elitists attitute about the Texans performance yestereday.
But as for me, I can't help it but I pretty much live and die with my team so the game yesterday was down right embarrassing.

I agree. I felt sick to my stomach after that. How the hell could he let that happen? He is like 400 frikkin years old.... he should know how to act in that situation without tripping his dang self.

To me it just looked like he didn't know what to do.
