If I'm not mistaken, the Texans are officially eliminated now with the Jags and Browns victories. It doesn't take away my enthusiasm for next year, though. Considering how many injuries the Texans had, and how tough a division we're in, I'm proud of how the Texans have performed. What this season does reinforce, though, is that you can't depend on any help from anyone else- you have to make your own breaks and take care of business when you can. Looking back, the Texans lost some winnable games, even with the injuries they've had. Hopefully, they've learned from their mistakes and will keep improving next year. If they can finish 9-7 or 8-8, they'll have a lot of momentum going into next year. Even if they finish 7-9, they're definitely better than last year- by a lot. Finally- I hope the rest of the league has enjoyed beating up the Texans since their existence; I have a feeling those days are past.
