The only way I see us getting this guy is if we traded down 2+ times from the #1 pick.

Sure I'd like him on the team but that doesn't change the fact I'd never draft a TE in the 1st round given our current roster and the needs we need to look at filling. I would consider him at #33, but depending on who we get in the 1st I don't know for sure if I'd get him there either.

He won't make it to #33 and the Texans have bigger needs than a TE in the first round. I'm sure Washington St. could give you a great tape of Ryan Leaf highlights or Oregon with Akili Smith. Every player that will be drafted in the first few rounds was a stud in college. The hard part is deciding which ones are busts and which ones are studs.

he is truely a tank. it'd be interesting to see how he'd do against better defensive players in the NFL. still,i'd have no complaints if he landed here!

They didnt show any highlights of him blocking anyone ...Although its not nearly as glamourous as catching a 72 yard td pass , its something a TE MUST do and do well .....Watching him catch passes and drag defenders around is great .... But I didnt watch him much during the season and dont know how well he blocks , runs routes and all the little things it takes to be successful in the NFL.
