funny how stats can be misleading

If the draft is the lifeblood of every NFL team, then each organization is only as good as the person running it.

With that in mind, the Chicago Tribune conducted a study to rate each “drafter” based on his batting average — number of players taken who became starters out of their total picks. Starters were defined loosely as players who started the majority of games for at least one season. In some cases, players didn’t become starters until they joined other teams.

Millen’s average is a misleading read on his drafts. Though he has taken 17 players who became starters, very few of them have become good starters. His only Pro Bowler in seven years is wide receiver Roy Williams.

Average: .285 (2-for-7)

Percentage of Pro Bowlers: 0

definitely misleading. the article doesn't address the fact that bad teams are generally forced to start their draft choices, regardless of how good they are.
