Word is this prospect was promised that the Trojans would face no punishment for Bush-gate, but was real unhappy after USC got burned real bad.

USC athletic director Mike Garrett has apologized to Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley for inaccurately alleging that a member from the school illegally contacted Trojans freshman running back Dillon Baxter, according to a letter Garrett sent to Foley.

Well Garrett is being forced into retirement now. A little bit too late it would seem.

I don't know if this is true or not, but seeing as how USC obviously has a proven history in this area I'll throw it out there. Just remember that it's a rumor.

I read somewhere on rivals.com that Henderson was pushed toward USC because his father is an aspiring rapper and was using his son to get a hookup for a record deal in LA. Mabye it didn't work out?...

USC has hired Tennessee Titans running backs coach Kennedy Pola to serve as offensive coordinator under coach Lane Kiffin, causing Titans coach -- and USC alum -- Jeff Fisher to question the professionalism of the Trojans' head man.

"I am very disappointed in Lane Kiffin's approach to this," Fisher told The Tennessean on Saturday. "Typically speaking, when coaches are interested in hiring or discussing potential employment from coaches on respective staffs there is a courtesy call made from the head coach or athletic director indicating there is an interest in talking to the assistant
"So I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism on behalf of Lane, to call me and leave me a voicemail after Kennedy had informed me he had taken the job. It is just a lack of professionalism."

Now Kiffen has screwed up again and managed to get on the shiX-list of a very high-profile Trojan alum and possible future candidate as a "real" HC
    at USC.
BTW Coach Fisher, what on earth ever gave you the impression that
Kiffen was a "professional" in the first place ?
