    This proves 2 things:
    1. You have to be good to get on at NE. That's why NE is good.
    2. Devlin's horrible performance at preventing sacks is more responsible than lack of player talent for the impending destruction of our QB. It gets me hot that nothing is being done about it. Where is Howard Mudd?

I don't see how anyone can conclude #2, especially when Davenport at LT and Lamm at RT were virtually the worst pass protecting tandem in the NFL........even with TE reinforcements.

not to mention other factors... ie. Watson holing the ball forever, no receivers on decent routes etc

Sometimes he holds it till he has to peel it and eat it. If the receivers don't know how to run pass routes by now....well.....it ain't professional football.

Linemen can't pass block, receivers don't know how to run routes and QB doesn't have enough sense to get rid of the ball.

So is it coaching, lack of NFL talent, or both?

Can we still blame our former GM?

Did firing our lead scout place the blame on him or was he just the sacrificial lamb?

Will Gaine get it all straightened out? Will Cal loosen up the purse strings?

Could Cak and Steelb work together and fix this mess?

Or would we just end up bankrupt and spend all our time in court?

    Do we need a poll?

    Us dumb-asses deserve answers.

Is it too soon to buy superb owl tickets?

Excellent! I knew of none but thought you posted due to (upper body) injury he should play only left side. I thought comment was made during conversation of where Howard and Scharping should play. Thanks for correction.

Edit: ok read Doc's second response and am feeling better that I ain't going crazy and appreciate clarification, Cnnnd! Scharping looked good senior year but I prefer him on right side when he starts.

I think you would be surprised.

Cak is very smart and I'm very persuasive, plus I actually listen to people.
