Geez, I really hope Wade is over being a HC and stays on here for years to come.

As I have said before, the whole "Can't fire a coach during the season" argument is sheer nonsense. Once one team does it, they all do it.

Could get interesting around here. Wade is going to have a zillion job offers.

How the heck did the Fins go 11-5 his first season after going 1-15?

Tom Brady season-ending injury, Jets falling apart after Favre had a significant arm injury and a little dose of the ball tipping their way.

I think they wanted to axe him at the end of the year, but he was in danger of winning out and making his players and fans fight to keep him.

Also, "wow" at Parcels failing to do anything of note with that team and a hearty "LOL" at all of the soapers who used Sparano and Haley as examples of what the Texans needed.

1-15 they were relying on a combination of a has been and two never were QB's and their primary rusher didn't make it to the halfway mark of the season.

11-5 Pennington stayed healthy all year and had the best year of his career plus Brown and Williams managed to play all 16 games.

I thought the Patriots finished 11-5 that year under Cassel (although they missed the playoffs)
