If they sign enough guys, then one of 'em's bound to pan out. I'm surprised it took Moulds this long to land somewhere.
So much for Titans fans remarks about McCardell = Moulds II
Watch him have a comeback year for them.
I wish that the Texans would have held on to him until the Carr situation was resolved but then it probably wouldn't have made much of difference. He had legitimate reasons to complain about DC but I think on top of that Moulds just wasn't going to make the transition from featured #1 to role playing, somewhat slower possession receiver. It's pure speculation on my part but I think the coaches recognized this and let him go because of it. Some guys just don't have the temperament to adjust and I think Eric Moulds was one of them.
Put him on the board .... championship!
I've always wondered what really happened with Moulds. Both parties have kept a pretty tight lid on their respective side of the story.
I expect we'll learn more as October 21 gets nearer.
You mean T.J. Houshmandzadeh from the Cincinatti Bengals....
I agree 100%. I could see Moulds doing a lot to help the Titans and specifically VY.
He must have really p*ssed someone off and said/did the wrong thing to have the whole thing melt down after one season.
I hope the guy fails in Hickville being a Texans fan, but something tells me he has a chance at being another guy that comes back to bite us.
let's hope that isn't the case.
I really beleive that he has just slowed down that much. Why wouldn't have a team picked him up a lot sooner?? This smells of desperation from the tinbreads.
Of course I am with Hervoyel and SH... I hope it doesnt come back to bite us..
decent pickup for a team desperate for a receiver...........I wonder if people will get mad if I wear a Moulds jersey to reliant on Oct. 21st????
Moulds has had 3 100+ yard receiving games over the past 3 seasons. 11 TD receptions over the past 60 games. If Eric comes back to "haunt" the Texans, imagine what good receivers will do to the pass defense. Place me in the Couldn't Care Less column on this signing.
I agree with Lucky. I think his release from the team had much more to do with his declining skills than it was his mouth.
This smells like desperation on the Titans part more than anything else.
I agree with DB and Lucky...
I'm really not worried about Eric....
I'll third the comments of DB and Lucky...wake me if he plays well.
same thought flew through my empty head.
Well they needed a #1 receiver!
Is this bizzaro land?
NOOOOO, not my Mouldsssssssssssss...Its just sooo unfair....
Like the oilers Moulds has moved onto "greener pastures" pardon the pun my bovine rally chanters.
Watch him play like crap the entire season and be the key winning factor winning both Tenn/Houston games.
Maybe he will do a reverse on the 39 in OT winning the game to standing O
Like he will be any help to you all in Possum Kingdom.
