With the team playing as poorly as it has at any point of its six year history we need to start seeing some changes to get the players motivated. This type of performance may have been acceptable in the early years, but to see this ineptness in year 6 is inexcusable. This organization cannot afford to be set back another 4 years like it was under the previous regime. This has to be a make or break year for Gary Kubiak and his staff. It's looking like this team is capable of winning maybe 3 more games which certainly could not be described as progress and almost assuredly should be classified as regress. The team is probably going to finish in last place again, has one of the worst defenses in the league again and the worst running game in the league. The only thing that has improved is the passing game, however that seems to be on the decline behind Schaub's recent terrible performances. The team has lost 4 out of 5 games and looked horrible in the process. It's time to shake some things up now as a last ditch attempt to win 6 or 7 games this season. They should start with firing Richard Smith and promoting Frank Bush to Defensive Coordinator. Then the front office can evaluate Kubiak after the season is over. If doesn't get his team to at least 7 wins he is obviously not the right man for this job and should be terminated. If he wins 7 he gets one more year to make the playoffs.
