This team is just average without these two. No doubt.
And an "average" team can't overcome Kubiak's tendency to go ultraconservative and "play not to lose" any time he has a second half lead. It doesn't help that Schaub has been bad, too.
NOOOOOOOOOO ask anyone Mario is a subpar athlete compared to Antonio Smith who has been no where since M.W went out.
This team without them...
The defense was still good without Mario. Just not as good. The Raiders sure did move the ball better after he went out.
The defense was ok not good after Mario left. Jason Campbell had a hell of a lot more time to throw as soon as he went out. And pressure is the name of the game in this league.
I don't know if it's them just being great or the fact that they are leaned on too hard......but sure enough, this game would've been different with them.
