But in reality Kubiak's rotational system loses the synchrony of the OL. It's hard enough to get 5 men on an OLine, especially in a ZBS scheme, to play as a synchronous unit when it is the same 5 men. I know we've had problems with some of the players "distinguishing" themselves, but trying to continue to talk up the advantages of rotation at this point in the season only augments why we can't ever seem to play consistently. It has also had adverse effect on the play of the QB and the RBS...............which have had problems of their own.

    Some scary stats.

Nine of Houston's 11 third downs were 8 yards or longer Sunday. Of those nine, five came after Houston had running plays for no gain or negative yardage on first or second down.

We've converted 10 of 38 third down attempts in its last three games
