That is amazing. I remember when it was announced thinking "he can get our defense to middle of the pack or slightly above, and we should make the playoffs." I had no idea he'd turn it around like this. We're pretty much at the top of every major statistical category - un. be. lievable.
Kubiak Book II
1: And Lo did Kubiak bring forth the Wade of great defense
2: and the fans beheld and it was good.
3: and offenses did quaketh in their pads and QBs did shat apon themselves.
4: And Wade did say unto them, Woe to all who stand against the 3-4 under
5: and the Texans were playoff bound and it was good
6: and they didst produce a #1 defense
7: and this was also good
8: and I just wanted to have another verse starting with and
thank you based wade
We fire bum = curse.
Hire Wade = anti-curse
Now were finally going to kick that door down!!!
Oh, man. Can't stop laughing. Well done, sir.
EDIT: Tried to rep you, but must spread rep...
Got 'im for both of us. Was LMFAO! That was damned original and funny!
I hope he is content to stay in his hometown and be a defensive coordinator instead of jumping at one of the new head coaching positions that opened up..
If you're Wade Phillips I think you fancy your chances of ending up with a ring in the very near future by staying here in Houston.
That said, look at the Cowboys this season, that has to up his HC chances. Turns out, it wasn't Wade's fault after all.
And he produced this as well as our D!
Not to rain on anyone's parade or anything, but do you think he'd actually entertain HC jobs after this season is over with?
Lizard Neck was saying he wants another shot at a HC job. Take Lizard Neck's word for what it's worth.
"I wake up in the morning and piss excellence." - Wade Phillips
Must have been drinking some Battle Red Kool-Aid before bed.
I hope your right if wade does break it tho we must blow up the astrodome next
If you're talking about the McClain tweet, it looked like he was just speculating. Nothing that Wade actually said.
Wade's father will kill him if he leaves next year.
Don't we have him for like 3 years anyway? If teams want to talk to wade, we can't let them. I think McNair will do everything he can to keep wade. On the flip side, I don't really think wade will leave either. I seriously think he will retire as a texan. I think that was kinda his idea with dallas, to retire in his home state but now since he is in his hometown, I feel he will stay here. Plus like someone said, his father would be super dissapointed if wade leaves houston.
