Why do we run this when we are up? 5 pass attempts in the second half? Kubiak, we're not a good running team!! We are not going to get the 1st on 3rd and 12. Its better to get a 1st down and have 3 more plays than to waste 40 extra seconds of clock and give the ball back to the Raiders. At least try a screen or a quick pass or something so that the clock still runs but you give your guys a shot to do something in space

gary said it himself: we have to get the run game going if we want to do anything this year especially on the road.. and the time to practice that & see where we're having problems is to run it a bunch when you're cruising to a victory.

btw its ridiculous having a complaint thread after such an emphatic victory. 'we destroyed the raiders will to play the game' for gods sake ;)

I guess prevent offense is okay when it works. We were up 23 points on the worst offense in the league. The Fakers had given up the run trying to play catch up. Which meant they couldn't give a 1st down even if the defense left the field to party in the locker room. Texans just wanted to protect Schaub, the skill guys, and run the clock out. They got a long, hard streak of road games coming up. Save your energy for that.
