According to NFL.com tommorrow is the day rosters must be cut to 53 , with practice squads of up to eight players can be established the following day .

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/6000900

Who has earned their place on the roster and who should pack their bags and take their buss ticket home ? Of those cut , who will we see on the practice squad and who will be signed by other teams ?

Note: to be eligeble for the practice squad a player must not have been on the active roster for more than 9 games.

Only two players fall into my definate CUT list .... Cory Bradford and Tony Hollings ...... nuff said , most of us feel the same way .

Of the players who were on the practice squad last season , Sloan Thomas and Matt Murphy .... Both should make the roster based on their performances thru-out training camp and pre-season . I fear that if Thomas is cut again this season another team WILL pick him up .

There are no more practice squads if I remember correctly. The NFL would greatly benefit from a minor league.

They have a great one and they don't even have to fund it except for the fact that they dish out millions to first-rounders based on their last collegiate year. Check it out sometime, they play on Saturdays.

    Sad, but very true!
They even get them to change things to more 'closely resemble' their new workplace.....like narrowing the goalposts to NFL standards.
