Is anyone watching the Gator Bowl. Calvin Johnson has 123 yds recieving and two td's, and it's barely the second quarter. This guy is pretty good..

YES he is which is why Oakland will take him with the #1 pick.

    Wow...

He is amazing. Look what happens when you give CJ a competent QB.

    6'6 / 4.35 / 45in vert

    Those are some measurables.

Then you get to the on-field aspects and I will mock Oakland forever if they pass on him.

I would mock Oakland forever if they dont take Brady Quinn or JaMarcus Russell

Yea but seeing what he could be getting next year in this game...he might decide to stay in school.

They don't take first round QBs. Have fun mocking them.

Reggie Ball is one of the worst QBs I've ever seen.

I've seen enough of Joe Thomas...this seems like a good game.

Calvin Johnson was amazing. I would be psyched if we got him, but he would have to fall alot. AJ and CJ would be crazy. Through in Moulds, and maybe Mathis, and that is one heck of a recieving corp. Of course, the trenches need work too.

CJ is simply the best player in the 07 draft.

Ball was acedimecly inelligable. Some small, lefty, white kid got the start and managed the game fairly well. He had a good philosophy: Throw to #21.

AJ and CJ would be great together and I'd be real hardpressed to not take CJ if he somehow fell. However, having two big-time WRs isn't necessarily the #1 objective of this offense, and if CJ did somehow fall I'm pretty sure we could work out a pretty nice trade down package with someone.

What's the point of taking another star WR if you don't have a QB to get him the ball?

Yes, but he's been throwing to CJ for the past few seasons.

Ball had a very good rookie year and he has progressively gotten worse each year thereafter.
