By accident or design, the NFL is brilliant in ending one season with a bang, and then starting the process all over again, slowly, little by little with free agency, the Draft, mini-camp/OTA's and preseason. Just when you get bored with discussing free agency, the draft comes along. When you've beaten the draft picks to death, it's time to see what they can do in minicamp. The pattern continues until they unleash opening weekend, and they remind you why you keep coming back year after year.

They are the best example I know of the term "Always leave 'em wanting more".

No kidding. I left at halftime because I couldn't keep my eyes open.

    Can't wait for Sept 7.

I'm watching it now. So far I'm not sure I want to. I know the score and the stats and this thread has me wondering if I want to see anymore. Maybe I'll DVR the next replay and watch later.

With no injuries to key players to boot. Unless you're considering Ahman a key player that is.

Don't bother. We had two drives to bookend the first half that gained us 117 yards (and both FGs). The other 11 drives netted us a total of 78 yards and exactly 1 first down--and that first down came courtesy of a Tampa penalty.

The defense was OK but did nothing particularly noteworthy.

Unless you really like watching the Turk punt, there is about zero reason to watch this game. If there is any paint drying in your vicinity, I suggest watching that instead.

    Bring on the real games!
