Vinnie, when you proclaim absolutes like this is typically when the universe butt-fuggs me even harder. I blame you solely for this loss and a colts win. :littlelol:

On a slightly different topic, where is the half-assed game day thread? That thing was good luck last week, let's keep it going.

Can we use this for savage, or was he never on the 53. Have we used it?

Starting in 2012, the NFL and the NFLPA reached an agreement allowing one player placed on injured reserve to be brought back to the active roster.[3] Provided that the player was on the final 53-man preseason roster (A rule exempted for the 2012 season), and that the injury is deemed to keep this player unable to practice or play football for an estimated six weeks, the player may be allowed to practice after Week 6, and be activated to play after Week 8.[4]

The players has to be designated for return at the time of being placed on injured reserve.

IMO, either the injury was serious enough that Savage was not going return to health (plenty of discussion about that from doc) or
that even he could return to health with the frame of the season the Texans would rather use this as unofficial "redshirt" year than even having the potential of Savage playing for a half year of less.

That is IR-Designated to return, which I believe was used on Ryan Griffin.

I am expecting Yates to go back to a pumpkin...Jets 24-7...in a game not even that interesting...I more than welcome being wrong in the Texans favor

Jets will score more points than TJ completes passes.

Jets will get more sacks than Texans score points.

The Jets defense will pitch a shutout .... If the Texans score , the defense does it.

I noticed an I formation in today's game that netted one yard. But the line spacing was too close and wound up a mass of bodies.

It was enjoyable rereading this thread and seeing all the doom and gloom. Smiles all around now, and way to call it Ellis Unit!

Correct on the first. 17 points for Jets, 16 completions for Yates.

Not so good on the second.

Okay. I predicted Texans by 9 and they won by seven, but I WAS right about Bill. :dread:

I'm still in shock that we scored 24 points on offense. I did not see that coming.
