I say it has to go to Kris Brown.

If it weren't for him botching a FG a few weeks back against Tenessee and then another potential game winner today vs SF we almost certainly would not have gotten the #1 pick and Reggie Bush!

And you have to give him a lot of credit for making today's miss look legit.

    :)

Boy you are so funny. I'm dying here I'm laughing so loud. My sides are plumb split open. Spit take on my computer and everything.:woot2

In the off season, the team has to work on getting more depth and a new coaching staff.

In our off season, our fans have to learn to stop piling on more jokes on top of jokes at our teams expense. I know that is hard after a season like this, but it seems to me that it has become reflexive for some. That they can't help themselves. OK, we won the Bush Bowl, lost another game, kick em while they're down, belabor the obvious some more.

I suggest an alternative. Choose to have a new start for next year and just not retread the same old tired non funny stuff. I am not just speaking of this thread but all the ones like it. You can be a loser fan or be forward focused and prepare for some better seasons.

As a public service I will offer the humor lesson of the day: The funniest things are usually the most unexpected.

BTW, the answer to the original question is Jerome Mathis. Oh wait, there is nothing funny about that.

Id say it would have to be between DD or Mathis... id probably give it to Mathis because he has given us great field position this season.

The mood in here is very testy.

I actually liked this thread. Kris Brown is definitely the MVP.

Most Valuable Preserver of the No. 1 pick. Atta' boy, Krissy.

Reggie Bush. Who else were we losing for? Got to keep your eye on the prize.:) Mathis was the guy who showed the most promise. MVP is a little strong for our record though.

Kris Brown and Joe Nedney of the 49ers. One missed a field goal and one made a field goal, but the main thing is that both of them combined to put us in the position that we are in right now with the no.1 pick.

Believe it or not, Dom Capers. If not for this guy doing everything but win games in the 4th quarter, we would be far away from drafting Bush and that my friend would lead to more sad seasons.

Jerome Mathis, he's been one of the few reasons to watch the Texans.
