The first Google search suggestion after typing "Jerrell Powe" is Jerrell Powe can't read.

High upside late round flier by KC a few years ago. Never really realized his potential though.

More suited as a backup/rotation player to be honest. We had 0 NT's on the roster though so welcome aboard!

Depending on the contract, I actually like this signing. We needed a DT and here we've got one that's in the mold that we're looking for. Granted, this is just a backup, but at least we've taken a baby step forward.

I could live with us drafting a 4th-5th round guy we planned to platoon with Powe. I don't see Powe as a starter, but I also don't see us drafting a starter in this draft. I see us drafting a mid-round guy with the potential to start in year 2 or 3.

I like to look at opposing fans comments in regards to players when I don't have a lot of info on them, and what I've read so far seems like Chief fans liked the guy.

Read some comments on the bottom of a news site about them re-signing Powe in DEC and the comments there were all positive as well.

Could be one of those pleasant surprise pick ups...We'll see...

He has power and can control double teams. Exactly what we all wanted. I hope Romeo and JJ can get him right. Bill Kollar will play a big role in his development. Should be interesting to see if they roll with him as a penciled in starter or if he is depth.
