McGee has had multiple injuries to his non-throwing arm shoulder and a torn labrum of his throwing arm (after multiple injuries to this shoulder) which eventually required surgery. He was brought in by the Girls because Garret and Jones were high on him. He never developed and since his release with the Girls, he has been tried out by a half dozen teams without a bite......until now. His is considered quite mobile with poor footwork. Before his surgery, he was considered to have a strong arm, but you couldn't count on where his balls landed. Fodder most likely.......especially since he was originally a Jones favorite.....of course, he was an Aggie......:kitten:

Yes!!! Another cowturds castoff from Wade's tenure in Arlington AND he's an aggie. Meets all the requirements. LOL! Didn't realize he had that many injuries which kinda explains why the Turds finally let him go. Thanks for the info, CnD. I knew at one time the Turds seemed quite high on him. He's home now!

Im kinda interested to see how much, if any, Delano Johnson has improved. He seemed a bit raw, but he looked like he had potential in training camp.

Maehl could get a chance to make the 53 if Walter gets ousted. Good possession wr w/ good hands. Mondek was the only draft pick not to make the 53 last season. Would be nice to see if he steps it up.

Hmmmmm....I don't think so, BUT w/ the other 2 requirements having been met he easily qualifies as Texan material. Now let's see if the QB guru, Kubiak, can raise McGee from the ashes. I'm still waiting to see this miracle worker actually develop a QB not named Schaub in Houston.

So we now have three consecutive Wisconsin TEs on the roster?

Coming at this from the wrong angle. The real question here isn't did he play TE, it's can he play TE?

The real question is can he be turned into a TE to be converted to a FB.

Only as long as you then totally fail to utilise the mismatch. ;)

It's nice to see Keenum coming back for another year.

Just make sure we get into FG range, though, and it's all good.

Mike Mohamed was a solid football player in college. Never saw action in the NFL (AFAIK) but he does have potential.
