A Arian Foster type went undrafted so yeah if I had a pressing need elsewhere I would pass. RBs are too unpredictable and the injury risk at the position is too high to be spending 1st round picks on.. Tytus Howard could anchor this line for the next 12+ years.

Now if I felt I was one good back away from being a contender and was comfortable with the other position groups on my team.. yeah, I'd spent a mid 1st on one.

And how many are sporting rings as the lead back. That's my point.

The drop off from 1st round to mid and further rounds is almost non existent.

How many of the SB winners had 1st round LTs? See I can ask for research too.

I disproved this just a few years ago. League leaders had a hefty curve down 1st thru 3rd but made up the great majority. Beyond that was a crap shoot and the players were almost all shooting stars.

You can get a RB in any round and same thing with LT. 2017 it was a 7th round SB LT.

If we had better luck with our 2nd & 3rd round backs, I'd be with you. But something's gotta change.
