I thought that's what they would do...

I thought he was a better player than Keo, so we'll see...

Wasn't Demps pretty good on special teams?

Is he related to Will Demps?

Good to hear. Demps was one of the surprise cuts in TC.

Somewhat surprising in that he has always carried the reputation of not enjoying contact, with the suggestion that he may only be an average "soft" CB in a safety's uniform.

He is fast isn't he? I think that is what he was know for coming out of college, maybe they need some speed on the back end to replace Manning.

He runs a 4.55 40. His tackling is suspect. But he may have some additional value for returns.

I figured this is something they might do as well.

Right now, Demps is a better player than Keo.

I was able to watch him in action in 4 games for the Eagles (as a reserve), and he looked fine to me (as a reserve).

I don't know who they will cut to make room for him; do they have to?

Not really surprising. Keo is just not a pro defender. Special teamer? Maybe.

He had one heck of a hit on the Titans returner on Sunday! Stopped him right in his tracks!

We might be bringing him back to return kicks. I attended a lot of the open practices and saw him getting reps behind Manning on the return team.

Didn't really see him do much with the defense.

I haven't followed Demps too much, but how reliable is he in the backfield?

I don't think he has stuck anywhere. I hope I'm wrong but he is just a body.

If we're talking Jeffrey Demps, we don't need him. If we're regurgitating Will Demps, I think he's off re-inventing himself as a freaky model type guy who will no doubt star in a version of the series as an older vampire freaky kid.

Demps proved to be a very good kick returner for the Eagles in 2008, finishing fourth in the NFL in kick return yards. He averaged 25.3 yards per kick return. He scored his first career touchdown in week 13 against the Baltimore Ravens with a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown. In his rookie season, Demps had 18 tackles and one sack.

We signed him on 12/7/10, played in the last two games last year sparingly. He played in all four preseason games this year and was released in the final cut.
