Miami had the worst draft there, statistically.

    Its bittersweet reading those rankings...

I'm happy our first draft with the new regime netted us players like Mario/DeMeco/Winston/Daniels who will be cornerstones to our team for a long time barring injury. But at the same time I am quite saddened that the 06 draft has already become our most productive draft class to date and they've only played 2 NFL seasons :(

Ranked at the head of the class from a very reputable source. That's what I call high praise.

I think ESPN still has us ranked 32nd with an F & the Saints #1 with an A+...

Haha. Well not even Kiper gave us a bad grade on that draft at the time. He was pissed at us but still gave us a B+ the day after the draft.

Imagine how high or far ahead we would be if Spencer wouldn't have gotten hurt.

A slightly different way of looking at it would be on a points per pick:

    Houston 3.86
    Indy 3.00
    NYJ 2.4
    GB & Balt 2.08

It would be interesting to see how they assigned points.

Stop looking that far in the past. Remember that was new franchise material. Now we have real professionals doing great things. Start looking to the future.

Considering the Texans had the top pick in each round (and the top 2 in the 3rd), they should have come away with the best draft. Nevertheless, an outstanding job by Kubiak, his assistants, and the scouts.
