First of all, I am no Charlie Casserly fan. However, I find it an interesting study in "tippy toe-ness" for all the blame to be pointed at him for the perceived sub par draft selections. I've seen quotes like, "he's an idiot, "what was he thinking" etc. Really, is he making these decisions, being the probable lame duck that he is? Why are we not saying the same things, but using Kubiak's name to blame instead. Are we "tippy toeing"? In denial? Giving the benefit of the doubt? Just wondering?
