TCU is ranked #4 in the country in football right now: http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings/_/week/14 If Texas were to lose to Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship game on Saturday, TCU would have a legitimate argument for being chosen to play the winner of Florida-Alabama for the national championship. And this year's performance is no fluke. The Horned Frogs have won at least 10 games in a season in four of the last five years, and they have won 11 games in three of the last four. TCU has consistently fielded remarkably strong football teams. TCU has also been competitive in Baseball. On the other hand, Baylor has struggled mightily since day one in the Big 12. The Bears have been routinely outmatched. Maybe they are just now finding their stride, and will be competitive from now on. But so far that has not been the case. TCU should be invited into the Big 12 South, and Baylor should be permitted to find another conference where they have a more reasonable chance of being competitive and establishing a winning tradition.
