Butler was simply outmatched against a great pass rusher. Our backup tackle versus Osi shouldn't be pretty... particularly when we are forced to throw the ball. I'm much more concerned with the play on the right side of the line. Caldwell was appallingly bad. We could've shown much more video of him struggling!

KC is Butler's last game. Then, Brown will be back after the bye. I suppose that is one reason why I'm more concerned with the right side of the line.

Also, Caldwell was rotating with Brisiel. But Brisiel injured his knee, so this was his first game playing almost every snap and Brisiel won't be back for a few weeks. It is something to watch.

Are you talking the circus, endless chasing, or slapstick comedy?

wow, that was awful. I'm amazed Schaub wasn't injured.

I'm glad you brought this up. So far everyone has been fixated on the defense's suckitude. The defense definitely has its deficiencies but they made far more plays last Sunday than the offense did, and the o-line was definitely responsible.

Caldwell was just being dominated by Rocky Bernard. In fact, the first video clip on Winston's failure was really due to Caldwell allowing Bernard to seal off Winston on the stunt.

Butler is a RT playing LT. The Texans need a backup LT.

Not sure what everyone else saw, but it looked to me like a bunch of pansies playing scared. They all looked intimidated and afraid of what the next move was going to be. It sucks for us the best performance by a D-Line this past decade occurred a week before we played against said D-Line. I really think that played into our psyche, and our O-Line was intimidated and scared of their D-Line. Pathetic...

butler worries me most. i'm no line coach but he looks flawed in every way. he's off-balance either being too high or too low, tries to plant his feet when making initial contact which doesnt allow him to move with the defender, and gets way too compact and stiff after first contact. the worst though is he's throwing some weird haymaker when bringing his hands in and has quite literally the worst "punch" i've ever seen ... heck i cant even call it a punch, i've patted friends on the back with more impact.
