I read the following statement in the Chronicle Saturday morning (in an article about Bill Parcells) and I was curious if anyone finds merit in it, believes it to be true or thinks its a load of horse s**t.

    Quote:
"NFL players are required to give so much of themselves in both physical and emotional terms that fear might be a necessity for succeeding."

    Any thought? Anyone?
