Stats to back up our O Line improvement

    surprisingly in 2005 we had the best year in run blocking.....man i forgot how great dw was....we need him bad......he made the oline look so good in run blocking. wow.....we steadily got better in running category but not passing.....huh????no wonder carr's stats and mind is in a slump.....we need help bad with pass protection...

    One of the biggest differences last year was the inability to run block. The pass blocking improved (less sacks on Carr), but IMO that was atributable to Carr doing a better job early in the season of getting rid of the ball and evading tacklers. The line was as porous as ever.

    I agree!!!! The fact that every defence in the league knew that we had no real running threat and DC had about 2 sec. to throw the ball, They did not have to worry about the deep routes and no break away runner!!

    ESPN and the NFL network still talk about the Texans like they have the worst line in the league. There are a hand full of teams below us

    Its because WE DO have the worst line in the league. We end up just giving up on the pass because #80 drops the ball, or Carr cant have time to make the correct read or gets sacked.
