Some players want to skip all or part of the preseason

    It is evident that within the player population, there are major divisions between established vets, bubble vets, rookies and UDFAs........each sometimes apparently more concerned with their own selfish needs than with the good of the game.

    Thanks for posting. I don't see any mystery here. No one wants to work or study harder or longer than the individual feels necessary. Players and probably most of us demand raises and then fritter dollars away. That is human nature imo. I doubt player reps will hold off on a new CBA to allow more time to pass as owners seem to have upper hand.

    Especially the quoted part, I wouldn't have thought of it..... I bet most players don't think of it.... but I bet the owners do.
