The Texans use a zone blocking scheme in which a team does NOT need a stellar RB.

So why would the Texans even consider picking Peterson

    Anyone got answers?

Because he'd be the best pick available at 8. we'd be crazy to pass him up there. i think he'd be a great selection for us.

however...trading up for him is very unrealistic.

It's assinine to think that any team doesn't need a stellar runningback.

Funny that 21 teams are asinine enough not to have a spent a 1st round pick on one then.

It is great to have a stud RB, but personally I would want to have a stud offensive line over the RB. Look at the arizona situation with edge.
