...according to Kubiak in his presser.

He hurt his ankle against Pittsburgh. No word yet on the severity, but he also said they are working out running backs this week. He dodged the question when asked if Cedric Benson was one of them.

He said he was not dodging that question, which means that he really is dodging that question.

He also said Darius Walker would be prolly the first HB called up if Green can't go.

And what good is any RB to us, until the OL has some success at keeping the opposing DL from getting 4 yards deep in the backfield on every other handoff.

He's so old the GEICO caveman makes jokes about things being so simple even Ahman Green can do them.

When called on it the caveman says he didn't know Ahman was still around.

On Green I guess this is just confirmation that every single penny he ever received from the Houston Texans was wasted money. It would have been better spent in small bills being dropped from the roof of Reliant following every game and given out to the fans.

Worst Texans free agent signing ever (and that's not easy to do)

Green sure takes some abuse around here, but there were a couple of plays he made yesterday that I don't think any other back we have can make. His acceleration is probably better than any other back too.

Too damn bad he can't stay on the field though...

Man, Ahman Green is NOT soft. He's just old and broken down. The guy was an absolute WARRIOR in Green Bay. He CONSTANTLY played hurt, and is one of the toughest backs in recent years... but none of those years include his time in Houston.

Anyway - I just wanted to make a distinction there. Chris Brown is soft. Reggie Bush is soft. Ahman Green is just old and finished.

    Currently making him..................................................................................................................................................................

    .................

    Soft...

Being a "warrior" in the past doesn't mean he can't be soft now.

I have been supportive of Green even this year, however another injury! He has to go now, he is becoming no more than a distraction for us.

Sorry, but I put this BS is on no one other than Gary freaking Kubiak. He's the guy that thought he plug any one of these garbage RB's in have this great running game since he's been here. I knew from the start that Green was a terrible move, because he had been banged up for like the last 3 years in GB. He did nothing last year, and I thought for sure he would have been cut, but nooooooo we kept him and added one more injury plagued back thinking he was the answer as if Brown didn't have Green written all over him.

I'm so sick of trying to follow this Denver Broncos path of getting any ole RB. We've had two years to address this, and the only decent thing to mention is Steve Slaton whom is not the long term answer for an every down back. Possibly a part of a committee, but that's about it.

This whole Green thing was a BIG screw up on Kubiak and Smith for thinking that he could give us a lot of help. Having that much faith in Amaan Green was a straight DOm Capers/ Casserly move.
