I wish him luck every game except when he is playing the Texans. Payne was one of my favorite Texans.

Wondering if this is a real move, or just a symbolic one so he can retire with them?

I mean...I didn't think he should have been playing last season. Too many knee injuries, too many years of playing.

Not ragging him, of course. He's a great person and had some good years with us prior to last season.

I am just a big believer of calling your own shot...going out in full control of yourself and not being carted off the field or unceremoniously cut in the offseason to never be heard from again. Just my two cents.

Best of luck to him, no matter what.

wish him all the best, though I dont think he'd get much playing time even if he was fit. Not with Stroud and Henderson in there.
