Please post discussion of the Texans' 1st round selection once made in this thread. The thread title will be updated to reflect the pick and we will have a similar thread for each selection. Thx.

Cak, for the next 3 days, if you choose to remove all restraints and rule this place with an iron fist, you'll get no complaints from me. Because it's going to need it. ;)

I demand the freedom to be a Troll! I demand the freedom to be a total nuisance in the draft threads! If I can't have my demands, I'll take my ridiculous comments to another board!!

Keep your head on a swivel, or it will end up on a platter. Good luck and Godspeed.

It's okay Thorn, you are grandfathered in, as you were Trolling everyone before they had to clamp down on all the new ones who'll appear 3 seconds after the draft pick is made! :kitten:

    :)

One suggestion: could you add a poll to that thread (in the form: do you like the pick? 1) yes 2) no)? I used to start threads like that in the past years and always found the results really interesting. But I probably have to sleep this year when we make our picks... and it`s better to have just one thread about the pick anyways.

(the bolded) Ain't that the truth!! There's no telling who'll show up tonight. I don't mind us (all "us" who have posted here) going crazy after the pick, that's to be expected. I just hope we don't have a thousand new trollers which make it more difficult to just fight amongst ourselves.

Wait, I don't choose to be an obnoxious a-hole ... I was born one, so you must give me freedom ... no, many many freedoms. Freedom to marry other obnoxious a-holes, and give us both health benefits. Freedom to act as I like where I like and not have my personality preference ... ummm errrr, born that way ... questioned. Because, as you know, if you don't the PC world will come down upon you with the wrath of 1000 centipedes you despicable bigots! Oh yeah, the draft ...

Just imagine if we get him. We'll have a thousand new members bashing AJ and Hopkins for any dropped pass.

How could the Texans choose such a loser. What a terrible pick ______ is. And ____ ____ ____ College sucks too. Fire Rick Smith and fire Bob Mcnair and Cal Mcnair, and their sister too. And Bill O'Brien. And the janitor.

Just thought I would start a template so the knee jerkers don't have too type as much.

Come on Thorn, you're experienced enough to know that a first round draft pick and a pick 6 by a Texans QB leads to an extreme spike in 'new recruits' to the board.

And that is why Cak and the mod-squad get to use the TexansTalk corporate jet - it's hard work holding back the 10,000 unemployed GMs we'll have visiting tonight! :pirate:

We should all just hang out in the Tailgate section and name our draft discussion thread "Compromising Photos of Bill" - no-one will ever think of looking for us all in there!

I definitely have a few knots in my stomach... Though I'm hoping it's the draft, and not my lunch selection.
