And in non-Michael Vick related news:

The Seattle Seahawks released 5 year veteran CB Kelly Herndon. Herndon was with the Denver Broncos from 2002-2004, starting 27 games. Kelly suffered a broken ankle in the last regular season game of the '06 season (on this play).

Rick Smith and Gary Kubiak are obviously very familiar with Herndon. Will they give him a call and offer a job? Depends on how well Kelly's ankle has mended as well how guys like Jamar Fletcher and Dexter McCleon fare in offseason camps.

I'd take a chance on him. I'm still not sold on our secondary. I can't see him being any worse than the guys we have now.

On a related note, is Lewis Sanders still on the team?

Wow. Either he stepped up his game big time, or Atlanta's secondary is going to be pitiful.

Herndon is done. He's at the very, very best, a nickel back.

I wouldn't bother with him. If he is coming off an injury from the last game last year, he's still probably not 100%. Give the new guy's we already have a chance. They may surprise this year.:fans:
