With all the negativity around here (rightfully so) I thought it'd be best to atleast say something good... one thing... have fun (-:

    - Connor Barwin's sack of Peyton was great to see, he beat the tackle around the edge used leverage and took the shortest path to Peyton... had Peyton not fallen down Barwin was gonna lay the wood on him

It has been mentioned in another thread... but really good to see Slaton bounce back with a nice game. I still believe he will be our answer at RB. He's just too talented to give up on.

Our D was getting some pressure on Manning in the 1st half.

Usually I would be praising the D but the 2nd half D didn't play well at all. What do the Texans do in the locker room at half time?? Does the coach just say "hey guys let's just throw away everything that worked!". This is the second time it happened to us. We were 21-0 vs 49ers and we barely came out 24-21. Today we were 17-7 vs colts and this time we wern't so lucky.

This team can usually play one really good half of football. One or the other. Either way, the other one is usually even better for the other team.

The Texans played one half of great football ..... just not the half that mattered.

I don't think the volume on my TV automatically went up during the commercials and we didn't wear the ketchup bottle uniforms and our D got 2 picks on Manning, oh, and I saw Antonio slap him in the face and Mario throw him to the ground. I think that was at band camp...

This game convinced me to save ~$200 that I had planned on spending to watch the Texans lose to the Patriots, and use it on something more productive. Also, Brian Cushing.

I don't have to wade through any more posts "proving" that a 6-0 finish is reasonably within reach.
