San Diego just tore up the Ravens.

With Green Bay, Denver and Oakland losing along with Indy winning, this has been a crazy weekend. We still need SF to beat Pitt to give us a good chance to get a bye.

We also still need one more win to lock up at least the 3 seed.

Houston, Green Bay, and Baltimore flat didn't show up today.

You still can't mail it in and expect to win in da NotForLong league.

If NE and Pitt win out, they get the byes with #1 and #2.
NE only has Miami and Buffalo left, both of which they should get bye.
SF has a good chance to beat Pitt this weekend but if they don't, they only have ST Louis and Cleveland.

We need pitt to lose a game as well because if they win out, they have a better record than us at 13-3. So for us to lock up a first round bye, we need Pitt to lose tomorrow and the Baltimore to lose one more. Or have New England to lose one but I doubt that will happen.

if i'm not mistaken, if we finish with the same record as the ravens, we beat them in the standings due to our conference record. could be wrong though

They beat us in the regular season, head-to-head comes first.*

Still waiting for tomorrow night's game's numbers to crunch... but as of now we have a 30% chance of getting a first-round bye.

    *this assuming it's a two-way tie

It depends on a couple of things. If they finish as a wild card (which is now a real possibility), then records don't matter - Division winner always gets a 1-4 seed, and WC teams are always 5 & 6.

If we're both division winners, and it's a two way tie, the first tie-breaker is head to head match ups, and we lose that. Conference record comes into play if it's a three-way tie, or if there is no head to head game.
