Can anyone confirm or deny, with relative certainty, that Sage ran this type of offensive system last season, which would explain his apparent comfort level? I heard this rumor at the office this week. I'm sure playing against the 2nd and 3rd team defenses helps as well. Let's remember, Carr is basically starting over, not to mention, he is still gun shy. Kubiak believes Carr can take this team to the Super Bowl...not this year, but soon. He's not able to convince McNair of the extension on a pure hunch. Kubiak will likely give Carr a lot of time to learn the complexities of the offense, gain confidence again, and then I think we'll see Carr flourish. Give him and the team time...they will succeed soon. With that said, I see Carr improving each game. He was not superb tonight, but much improved with his progressions and confidence. Don't forget, Denver is one of the top 5 teams in the league.
