the safety class is strong at the top, but the depth is relatively thin. we NEED a free safety this year. so who can we pick in the 3rd-5th round?

    michael johnson
    roderick rogers
    tony franklin
    brandon sharp

i really dont know much about franklin or sharp, but we need some speed at FS, and theyre the fastest of whats left

we could always take a big CB and turn him into a FS

    deandre jackson
    cj gaddis
    anthony arline

jackson has good instincts and is a good tackler, but he doesnt have very good speed. im hoping his instincts make up for it.

    any others?

Eric Weddle. FS Utah (I believe) will be there in the 3rd.

weddle is a top 5 safety in this draft. he's gone in the middle of the 2nd at worst.

Yes he is projected to be a top 5 saftey option, but on all of the draft charts I have seen he is still projected to go in the 3rd round. Anything can happen.
