With the play of our line and Schaubs quick reads and ability to get rid of the ball, how many sacks do you think our offense will give up this year? I'm going to say 20-25.

Kubiak & Sherman's goal is to cut the 43 in half. I'm thinking they'll get close but not quite make the target. 25 +/- a couple.

I agree - to stay under 25 we would have to stay healthy and we all know that staying healthy in football is a job in itself

If Salaam stays healthy- around 25-30.
If Black is forced to play- around 30-35

It is just pre-season, but he has consistantly performed below average. Against the twos, mind you.

I would play JB the entire game against TB. He needs to get better.:bat:

upper 30s/lower 40s, depending on health and Schaub's ability with the three-step drop, which he is doing really well so far. It's good to have a quarterback who can take a three-step drop. He may need to learn to perfect the two- or one-step drop before the end of the season, though.

I noticed the Texans are trying to scheme with the shotgun, too. This is another formation that I think will work well in the Texans offense. Anything to give Schaub an extra second before the defensive line comes rushing in on him.
