Just heard that the Lions offered the jets the 9th pick for Abraham and a 3rd rounder.

If this is true and it goes down like this... the 4th and 9th pick for the 1st sounds like a REAL good deal.

I'd take 4 and 9 for #1 any day of the week .... D-Brick or M.Williams at the 4 and Either M.Huff or V.Davis at 9 would go a long way twards filling some of this teams holes.

    Relative values .... pick 1=3000 , 4=1800 , 9=1350

Do you have a link to this or is it just speculation ?

I think thats a Dream Scenario for this team .... two top 10's for the #1.

As for giving up the #9 overall for Aberaham .... I wouldnt touch that deal .... But Detroit and Matt Millen in poarticular have done some silly things the past few seasons :twocents:

Two words for ya: Salary Cap

    Two top 10 picks=Very Expensive
    Signing 1 top pick=Difficult
    Signing 2 top 10 picks=Agonizing

    Would be nice talent though.

    D'brick/Mario and Vernon Davis

Wont happen in a million years but we can dream- also would signing a T @#4 and a TE @#9 be much harder than signing a RB/QB @#1

Where did you hear this? Doesn't sound reputable on the surface.

In our Mock Draft I traded the 9th pick plus a 2nd rounder for Mario Williams, also adding a 4th round pick that the Lions currently don't have. As Detorit GM which deal sounds better to you  exactly :pigfly:
