My apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere, but I read something earlier today that really jumped out at me. Prior to this year's playoffs, the nine rookie quarterbacks who started for their respective teams were 6-9 cumulatively in playoff games. (That number is now 7-10, obviously). Of those nine, only four emerged victorious in their first playoff game. None of those four (Shaun King, Roethlisberger, Sanchez, Flacco) took their teams to the Super Bowl that season. However..... THEY ALL TOOK THEIR TEAMS TO THE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES. Look out, Baltimore. Don't say you weren't warned.
