Here's another intriguing FA. He started every game last year for the Pittsburgh Steelers at right guard. He's 6'5" 325lbs & will be 27 y/o next month. Weigert is almost 33 y/o. Upgrading the RG & Center positions are our 2 most pressing needs on the OL.

He's an unrestricted FA. How much would it take to sign him & would you do it?

I think he's an interesting possibility. However, I'm sure we're looking at all of the C/OG FAs and trying to gage their value and whether their cap hit would fit the master plan. If we can get him at a reasonable price and our scouts are sold on his ability to fit in our zone blocking scheme, he would be a great choice.

When he is healthy he can get the job done, but he has had problems with diabetes, missed entire rookie season due to it.
