The first Mock last week was based on BPA, this one places a greater emphasis on team needs.

This is his second mock. His third mock will be where he actually expects people to go.

I'd accept Williams, but I wouldn't be happy with him. I just don't think he will be as good as some of you think he will be. But that's just my opinion.

I'm skeptical too. I like Albert more. Dude plays with a mean streak. Williams, not so much.

If it's between Gholson & Jake Long, why wouldn't the 'Phins take Gholson ?
Afterall he whipped-up on Long in 3 years of face-to-face meetings.

If he slips to New York or New England, Long would be facing him twice a year for a while again!

    not really a sound argument.

but i do think Parcells can see Gholston as being the next Lawrence Taylor. certainly athletic enough for it.

Just like there was a run on the second teired Wr's in the third last year....there'll be a run on the speed RB/Wrs in the second round this year. Charles goes in the first, he'll be the first domino to fall...

Where's the band picture ? NFW Dallas takes Jackson.

That's the problem with him....when he's motivted he's godzilla. He destroys every thing in his way. Where is he the rest of the time ? The tape doesn't match the numbers. Best athlete on the board no doubt. Enough Saen Gilbert there to make a GM queezy.

The Dolphins are going to take Chris Long imho. No way Gholston goes in the top 5. Maybe Jets or Patriots.

no DE is going to shine on every play. you only really expect them to make a big impact on a dozen or so plays a game.

I have been saying Gholston to Miami from the beginning. Still beleive he will be the pick.

IMO the soundest argument of all because there's no better measurement of a
players ability and potential than how he does one-on-one (man-o-man-o)
vs. top competition. Just like Otah whipped up on Chris Long whem they met,
its gotta be factored in to a players ratings.

I share this opinion as well. I just don't think Williams will be anything more than average at the next level. I see him being a slight upgrade to Chester Pitts at LT. I'll accept Williams if he is the pick, but I don't think he is going to be anything special...or worth our #18 when we look back at this draft.
