This is gonna hurt the Sooners big time.
Big blow for the Sooners. UT now has to be the favorite in the Big 12 South.
Don't count out my boys from Lubbock now.
I hate the Sooners, but hate even more to see 'em go out like this.
Oh, No Mr Bill! Ouchie sorry about that sooner fans. Still got A&M to kick around.
I bet this'll hurt Adrian Peterson's chances at the heisman
I think this virtually guarantees that Adrian Peterson will be out of there and in the NFL as soon as possible (i.e. the 07 draft rather than staying for his senior year, barring injury of course).
If there is one player that can make up the difference for these two losses it would be Peterson in my opinion. He is the best college back I have seen since Ki-Jana Carter.
This will add about 25-35 % more carries for AP next season.
I agree, I would rather have him than Reggie Bush. He can get physical, and the only time I saw Bush get physical, he sat out a few plays to recover.
Anyway, yipee!!! Though its A&M's QB I'm worried about.
I dunno, are the Sooners making a highly moral decision, doing the "right
thing" and setting a lofty standard, or is this strictly a pragmatic move
being done to head off a worse fate to their program if the NCAA, other authorities, or the press uncovered this situation without the help of the Sooners ?

HILARIOUS!!! Great link.
Thompson will be the QB, no worries.
The D will hang 50 on the horns anyway.
I hate to see it when any player has to go out this way. This will hurt the Sooners, but I am confident Stoops will keep them competitive.
It seems like either a lot of college students are making dumb moves this off-season or, dare I say it -- universities are becoming more strict in scrtunizing the off-field behaviors of their athletes. Taylor was unceremoniously dropped from UT after his run-ins with the law. Four 'Canes are missing the first game against FSU. These seem like bold and risky punishments for the team's production, but invaluable as showing the integrity of a program.
Indeed. Althought this is probaly sacreligious I'm a bit worried about the UTEP and TCU games so early in the year.
Dump the Big 12 for awhile, reorganize the old SWC to show the new generation of boosters how cheatin is supposed to be done.
Yeah, no worries.
Remind everybody again why Thompson began last season as the starting QB and ended up as the 3rd WR last year.
What does your offensive (and I mean offensive) line look like?
Separate names with a comma.
