I forgot the win in Lambeau in 2008 where it was like 0 degrees, that was another great game that Andre won for us
One day I'm going to write a book about the 1993 Oilers and I'm going to call it "Whoop!, There It Is" because I can't think about anything 1993 without hearing that ******* song in my head. SHAKA LAKA SHAKA LAKA SHAKA LAKA!

Quoted for truth and the Texans will never get to this level with he McNair's owning the team.

But hey, the tailgaiting is great.

Are you seriously saying there has never been any one game that you enjoyed watching, or any memorable moment (in a positive way) from all the years of being a Texans fan for you? I truly find that hard to believe. If that’s the case then I doubt you ever were a fan. Nothing wrong with that by the way, as there is no rule that says you must be a fan of all Houston teams. But I know I’ve witnessed quite a few awesome games live and on TV that I’m glad I got to.

Yeah because both of these franchises did their “team of the decade” runs during their first 15 years of existence.

Seriously man, whatever this is with you, get some help. You’re singlehandedly running this MB with this incessant tripe.

We have had a lot of good memories. Just no legendary ones.

Yeah, but to be honest, I’d rather hear Yoko Ono singing Chipmunk songs than hear that Houston Oiler fight song again.

I've had a great time and made many memories.

Do you consider the Texans to be a well run football operation? I don't.

I think the organization was ran the best way humanly possible with what they had to work with. Bob’s church boy vision of the team is what kept a championship away from the city, in my opinion. Now, while I’m not making any outrageous claims that times are changing, I do think THINGS are changing in the building. Cal seems to be doing whatever he can to build a strong front office the way the big boys (NE) have even if it means stealing their guys. If, and BIG IF, Easterby and Caserio were instrumental to the Patriots success then I’m all for them bringing all of it down to Kirby.

One thing’s for sure, O’Brien’s leash is probably about a third of the length it used to be and I couldn’t be more thrilled if it turns out to be the case.

He is the Johnny Appleseed of starting the same sh!t in every thread and then wants to lament our buddy being gone, implicitly for threads going off-topic.

    Go sh!t your appleseed.

I'm certainly not in the group of posters that has caused this. But believe whay you will.

    Hurricane/Boat thread.

I wish there was more than a 1st rd playoff win or 2/3 to reminisce about. That's why this thread is a fail.

Reminiscing about the good old days when it was possible to get excited about the Texans' pre-season preparations. With TC coming up in less than 3 weeks we're forced to repeat the expression the GI's adapted during WWII and say "moxnix". The FO is in such disarray it is, as somebody previously described, a dumpster fire.

The good times were when the McNair's brought football back to Houston.

The bad times were when we realized the type of owners the McNair's were.
